Book cover challenge

the book name is Happy days are here to stay

its set after World war 2, about Dot and Tip Malone growing up in a small town; when she's 18 years old, Dot recounts her time growing up in  a  county in Texas, its a real small town with friendly people.

Herbert comes to town and if you've read this blog  you know that he marries Dot. but this is before she marries him. this book tells of Dot's growing up and how she met him.

So I'd suggest you read some stories on that blog to get the charatar feeling.
Than know its set in 1945, and have fun making a book cover!

BOOK COVER CHALLENGE

HI, it's Ruby here! :) 

I want to do a book cover challenge. 

I am writing a book called The Hidden.

It is the first book in a series I am writing called The Secret Eight.

It is a series about Anne Frank. 

This book takes place in the year 1942, when Anne Frank (a Jew) went into hiding with her family and wrote a diary (It is called The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, you can buy it at bookstores :) 

If you have read the diary, you will understand better. I obsess over Anne Frank. :) 

So basically this first book is about the first year of Anne Frank's life in hiding. 

No this book cover CANNOT have an image of a random girl.

It has to be a picture of Anne Frank, or something Anne Frank related. It could also be artistic, it can be any image of Anne Frank, or her diary, or the hiding place, or something you think realities to her or fits into the dairy. Just no "Fake Anne Franks"

HELP:

Anne Frank photos

Anne's family

RULES:

you can use a photo of Anne Frank, but no one else (or a photo of Anne and her family)

You can blend multiple images together

You can use any photo Anne Frank related. (Diary, hiding place, Jewish star, etc.)

You can do a cover that does not have photos of Anne in it

It can be as unique as you want it to be.

You may NOT use graphic images of concentration camps, people, or Nazis, etc. (but you can use the swastika symbol to embody the Nazis.) 

The deadline is next Saturday.

Vintage, Old, Antique Photography challenge

I started this challenge at my blog.

Only one person entered so I decided to do it here too.

Here is the only entry so far..

So take a picture of something old.

Yes old.

                                                                          Old books.
                                                                          Old steps.
                                                                          Old cars.
                                                                       Old cameras.
                                                                     Antique items.
                                                                      Anything old.

Vintage items.

                                                                           Be creative.

You must take the picture.

It may be a picture that you took a little while ago.

You may edit your picture.

Well, it looks as if only one person entered my contest. So, it may be that I didn't give you guys enough time. Or because you couldn't get your pictures off the internet. So I think I'll extend your deadline and remove that rule about not gettin your picture from the internet. The new deadline is now April 10. How does that sound? And, if you are getting your photo from the internet, you must state that you got it from the internet and where you got it from: Google, etc. Have fun now!!
